My angels asked me to write my next book on - how to live your brilliance. Since my first book was The Art of Listening to Angels, I thought it best to follow their guidance.
So, I asked them, “What do you mean by living your brilliance? How are we supposed to do that?”
Know Yourself
They told me the first step is to know yourself. When you know yourself at essence, you know your unique gifts and how best to share them. You get to know yourself as love and express that love as only you can do.
Love Yourself
When you know yourself at essence, you can easily accomplish the second step on the journey – to love yourself. At essence, you are love. So to know yourself, you can’t help but love yourself.
Be Here Now
The third step amplifies this love. Be here now. Be present. Be Presence itself. Be. Be who you came here to be. Be love, here and now, in each moment. Feel it amplify?
As above, so below; as below so above
The next step lifts it to cosmic levels – it is understanding the wisdom of the Emerald Tablets – the hermetic wisdom of “as above, so below; as below, so above.” When you can see yourself as love and then love yourself fully in each moment, you will be able to see that you are mirroring the love of the Cosmos, and it is receiving and being birthed by yours. Powerful, isn’t it?
Oneness
The fifth and final step is to embrace Oneness in the same breath that you embrace your uniqueness – to see that the All That Is, is all there is – love – in its many unique forms – including you.
That brings you back to the first step to rediscover who you are, discovering and rediscovering in each moment the amazingly brilliant being of love and light that you are at core.
Now, you might be saying, “this sounds great, but what does it really mean for me? I can know all of this theoretically, but I can’t see me living it. I am way too flawed.”
I am with you on that. My “flaws” have been keeping me from living my brilliance. I procrastinate. I feel I am not capable enough, not worthy enough, not whatever enough. I make up a lot of excuses for not being who I know myself to be and doing what I feel called to do. And yet, my very patient angels keep nudging me, keep sending me signs, keep loving me into the direction of my dreams, my visions, my purpose –to live my unique brilliance and do what I came into this lifetime to do.
It's all part of this journey called life. And we are in it together. We don’t have to do it alone. In fact, there are tools and practices that can help us on this journey.
What’s next
I will be sharing more in future blogs about how we can do this. In fact, there will be a series of blogs on practices to use to make these five steps for living our brilliance doable, feasible, and attainable. How does that sound?
In the meantime, ask yourself this – “What is my unique brilliance?” Let me know in the comment section below.
